Ole 97 Band

1:00 - 2:30 PM, Smail Automotive Group Stage

Imagine if you could go back in time and once again listen to the master country music icon Johnny Cash with his wife June Carter by his side.  What if you were able to bring back memories with music and share them with friends and family all over again?  How would it feel to make some new memories?  We make it all possible as we pay tribute to the Man in Black and his music.  We are not impersonators.  Our tribute show keeps the authentic sound of the original music, but with our own bit of style. Ole 97 Johnny Cash Tribute Show Band performs high energy, engaging and interactive entertainment. We are based in Johnstown, PA, but cover PA, WV, MD and points north, south, east and west.

Our passion is to keep the Fire Burning for the Man in Black Johnny Cash. We lost Johnny Cash in 2003, but Randy Hunter pays tribute with a style and voice that captures Johnny in his prime. Our show is similar to a Johnny Cash variety show and can be tailored to the needs of the specific venue where we perform.  Charlene Boldin is our June Carter Cash Tribute Artist, but don’t be surprised if you hear her sing a Patsy Cline, Janis Joplin or Stevie Nicks hit either. We promise goosebumps!

Gashouse Annie

1:00 - 4:00 PM, Wine Tasting Area

It’s easy to understand why some area folks think Gashouse Annie is a solo musical act. Shirley Dragovich of Hecla is the face of—and the one constant—in the rotating group of musicians playing under that name. She’s been doing her thing locally and across the country for more than 35 years. “I play guitar, banjo and blues harmonica. I do original songs and I take request. I tell the crowd I do everything from Patsy Cline to Jimi Hendrix,” said Dragovich.

Neon Swing X-perience

3:30 - 5:00 PM, Smail Automotive Group Stage

Neon Swing X-perience (NSX), based in Pittsburgh, has been described as the “only band bold enough to jump, jive, and rock” and “swing with sting.”  The purpose of NSX is simple: to get people from all walks of life to come together and have a good time!  Over the past 20 years, the band has done just that by performing hundreds of shows throughout the US and releasing seven recordings.  2018 will mark the release of their eighth album.

Formed in 1998 by Mike Urick and a rag-tag group of musicians, NSX has been relentlessly devoted to updating and preserving vintage American genres such as swing, hot jazz, blues, rockabilly, and horn rock.  NSX’s style is a raucous modernization of multiple influences all rooted in the big bands of the 1930s and 1940s.

Every NSX performance is an explosive retro party guaranteed to fill you with the irresistible urge to get up and dance.  In 2017, Neon Swing X-perience was named a top jazz/blues performer for the second time in the “Best of Pittsburgh” City Paper Reader’s Poll.
